A powerful new tool to help you manage and use your donor database.

Patriot Data Services is pleased to offer its clients PDS ONLINE.

With PDS Online, you can now update information on your indvidual donors, use the note feature to keep track of your conversations with a donor, select donors on a wide variety of criteria for your fundraising projects, input donor information directly onto your database and much, much more.

PDS Online is a Java application which you can download to your desktop.  For security and other reasons the data on the PDS Online Webserver is a copy of your data maintained at the PDS office.  Every night a "reconciliation" of your data on the PDS Online Webserver and your data located on the server in PDS' office is done.  This reconciliation takes the changes that you make to your data through the online system are updates the data in the PDS office and the updates done by PDS staff are updated onto the data on the PDS Online Webserver.  Additionally, after this reconciliation is done the summary records are recreated for each of your donors daily.

The Donor Area

The Donor Screen is used to view individual donors.  Once a individual donor's record has been opened, the name and address information can be easily edited.  Summary records will show the amount and date of the highest previous donations, the amount and date of the most recent contribution, the amount and date of the inception contribution, source codes and the total amount and number of gifts donated by the donor.  There are also reports that can be generated on individual donors in a PDF format.  With PDS Online you can add, delete and edit notes, donations and attributes for your donors.  An example of a donor attribute is flagging someone deceased or nomail so they will not be mailed by your organization in the future.

The Query Area

The Query Area will allow you to select donors on a wide variety of criteria.  For example, you could select all donors who have given $25 or more in the last year who live in Southern California to invite them to an event that the organization is having in that area.  Through the query system, you can view the records, generate reports to print in PDF formats, or create output files in either a DBF, Text, or Excel format.

The Batch Area

The Batch Area will allow you to rapidly enter a large group of donations/attributes onto your database.

The Group Administrator

Each client who uses PDS Online will have a Group Administrator who can create more users.  The Group Administrator will be able to control what "rights" each user has.  These rights include the ability to add donors, edit donor information, edit donation history, download records, print records and batch update records.  The "User Area", only available to the Group Administrator, will allow the Group Administrator to control who has access to the organization's donor list through PDS Online.
